Powerful Revo 540 Control Software integrates the 'jeweller friendly' interface of Matrix and eliminates difficult and time-consuming set-up issues. The graphically driven display even show you a full 3D view of the work piece, mill and fixture while operating. Software allows you to make precision jog movements, start, stop and control the spindle, feed rate and coolant flow. You also get critical feedback information including estimated completion time.
Tool Path Builder easily generates the required G-Code tool path from the Matrix software whil selecting cutter type and preferred surface finish.
Specially Formulated Liquid Coolant System vastly improves surface finish. The Revo 540 features digitally controlled coolant flow, instead of the messy flush type system found on most mills. The main fixture plate even has a 'moat' so that exccess coolant is captured and contained in a special reservoir ensuring a clean milling environment.
Coolant Used produces a smooth clean surface right off the mill.
No Coolant Used produces rough messy surface requiring additional cleaning.
Multi-Sided Ring Milling Fixtures overcome traditional limitations by allowing cutting on all exterior surfaces. 3-sided Auto-Flip milling, on both sides as well as the top of the ring with no manual repositioning of the wax, is possible using the Flat Milling Fixture and Open Sided Clamp Frame. 2-Sided Plus Rotary milling is accomplished using a unique locating system to reposition the wax for the rotary milling operation.
Flat Milling Fixture allows precision milling for flat work with an innovative self-centering clamping system and multiple holding plate sizes. Austomatic mode will even stop the spindle and coolant, rotate the part 180 degrees and restart the spindle and coolant to complete the item.
Hi-Speed Spindle utilizes the industry-leading NSK Astro 250 spindle with a variable speed range from 1,000 to 25,000 RPM and uses 1/8 inch tools.
